Proactive Service Keeps a 24/7 Customer Up and Running

TranSystems’ Unit Pump failures were causing damage to the engines in customer vehicles, and costing this 24/7 fleet operating time. Interstate PowerSystems in Grand Forks, ND worked with our partners at Daimler Trucks North America, as well as local Freightliner dealerships to proactively replace all of the pumps in the customer’s fleet. Working in close cooperation with the customer, we were able to complete the project with minimal downtime, allowing them to focus on their business.

A truck from Minn-Tex Express with a low power issue came into our Interstate PowerSystems shop in Minneapolis a couple of days before Christmas. The company and the driver needed the truck diagnosed properly, and quickly, so that the driver and the load could be back home in Texas for the holiday. The Interstate Technician agreed to stay late, and completed the repairs around 2:00 AM. The Service Advisor worked with the Minn-Tex staff in Texas to get the appropriate warranty coverage, get the driver back on the road, and home in time for Christmas.
