I’m pleased to announce to everyone, that Reed Prust from the Minneapolis Branch, has won the Detroit Diesel G2 “Tech Tip”, Grand Prize for 2009. Reed sent in a tip, on how to modify a step feeler  gauge, in such a way, that makes it easier for the technician to perform the tune up on the MBE 4000 and DD15 Engines, without bottoming out on the Jake rocker arm. This makes the tune-up more accurate and faster to perform. (Please click here see attached picture).

Reed started with Interstate on 10-13-06, joined the Detroit Diesel G2 Guild on 12-14-06. Reed is: System and Expert Certified on the MBE900, MBE4000 and Series 60 Engines. He is also System Certified on the DD15 and DD13 engines.
